Hilina‘i Brown of Kapolei High School

Davis Levin Livingston is pleased to announce the winner of our annual Hawai'i High School Humanitarian Scholarship - Hilina‘i Brown of Kapolei High School!

As we do every year, we received many outstanding applications from high school seniors across the Islands but were ultimately drawn to Hilina‘i’s. Hilina‘i exemplifies what it means to be dedicated to her community and has excelled in her academics while serving in health care for underserved populations.

As Mark Davis, Trustee of the Davis Levin Livingston Charitable Foundation said:

“This year’s distinguished honoree of the Davis Levin High School Humanitarian Scholarship was selected from over fifty applications submitted from graduating seniors from all over the state. The Foundation created this scholarship to reward public service and civic engagement and to encourage our most talented students to give back to their community.”

As she embarks on her next journey at the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa, we are reminded of how grateful we are to be a part of helping young leaders like Hilina‘i fulfill their goals of pursuing higher education here in Hawai‘i. Staying in Hawai‘i for college is a powerful choice, and it is one that reflects a commitment to giving back and uplifting our island communities.

We encourage more students to consider the impact they can make by continuing their education at home, where their skills and passions can directly benefit their communities. Hilina‘i is a stellar example of this, as she plans to work at the Wai‘anae Coast Comprehensive Health Center, continuing her service and dedication to her native Hawaiian community. We are all proud of her achievements and look forward to the positive changes she will bring to Hawai'i!
