HONOLULU – The Hawaii Association of the Blind presented attorney Stanley E. Levin with the Eva H. Smyth Award for his legal services to the blind in Hawaii.
Levin, a graduate of New York University School of Law, is a partner in the Honolulu law firm Davis & Levin.
He is a former litigation director and member of the Board of Directors
of Legal Aid Society of Hawaii and a faculty
member of the Hawaii Institute of Continuing Legal Education and other
legal programs.
The award, established in 1969 after Eva H. Smyth, a blind teacher who served the blind for over 50 years, was presented last month at the association’s annual convention.
Past awardees include U.S. Rep. Neil Abercrombie and former state Sen. Richard Wong.
